Balint Vekassy

Balint is an accomplished paddler, professional photographer, architect and event manager.

As a teen, Balint was an outstanding member of the Hungarian National Team whose career highs include two Golds and a Silver at the 1991 Canoe Sprint World Championships.

An avid paddler, Balint has tried other disciplines such as canoe polo, surfski, sea kayak and paddled all around the world from lakes and rivers in the heart of Europe to secluded atolls in the middle of the Pacific and some of the most renowned canyons and waterways in the United States. 

Balint has been the International Canoe Federation's event photographer since 2008 and has run some of the most professionally organized ICF-sanctioned competitions since becoming event manager for the Hungarian Canoe Federation in 2005.
