Today was the Grand Finale of the 2012 ICF Dragon Boat World Championships at the Idroscalo of Milan. The Russian national team with a strong delegation of 80 athletes and a large support team, added 5 gold medals to its already impressive collection of medals.
Canada excelled on the penultimate day of the Dragon Boat World Championship at Idroscalo, Milan. The Canadians dominated the podium with gold medals today. Russia continued their success as did Hungary.
First day of finals at the Idroscalo Regatta Course in Milan, Italy at the ICF Dragon Boat World Championship and the Russians, with the largest delegation among the countries that are competing with over 170 members dominate.
Packed grandstands today at the Idroscalo of Milan - the huge rowing facility of the Lombard capital - with a thousand people on the stands and at least as many on the banks of the basin, for the beginning of the Dragon Boat World Championship.
For the first time in the history of Dragon Boat, Milan, Italy will host the ICF Dragon Boat World Championships. This edition of the Championships will be hosted by Milan’s Idroscalo Club which is one of the most prestigious clubs in Italy.
