The last weekend of August was Nelo Summer Challenge weekend. The race was held at Vila do Conde, Azurara Beach (25 km north of Porto). Watch the video above (length: 27 minutes).

Friday: 10km Ocean Race
The start line will be “Le Mans” style in Póvoa de Varzim – Fishing Harbour, after the start you will head out to sea for 3 km, and than straight downwind until you reach Vila do Conde – Azurara Beach where the finish line will be placed in the sand, so to cross the line there will be a 50 mt sprint in the beach..

Saturday: 800m Surfski Tournament
The start line will be in the beach, you will have to run to your boat, paddle 400 mt to the turn out in the ocean come back to the beach and run to the finish line on the sand.
